The devastating act of having your threads pull out of the block with your head bolts. Never a good day.
This plate is designed to aid in time-serting your M52/M54 Block. It holds the tap guide perfectly perpendicular to the block in two different positions, allowing you to safely and correctly start the tap at a precise 90 degree angle to the surface on two bolt holes.
Its designed to be bolted to the block, and give a perfectly perpendicular guide to start the tapping of new threads once it's been drilled.
I've personally used this creation over the past several years, and have now decided to add it to the list of BMW parts I'm producing to help the fellow mechanics and machinists out there.
